Around the one-hour mark the author noticed subtle motion in houseplants and shifting light within a painting. A couple of hours later the visuals took on a gentle LSD-like character: window frames gained depth, stones and glass looked enchanted while natural textures stayed ordinary, and occasional dark streaks crossed the visual field. The author found all of these effects very pleasant.
