The effects took unusually long to appear: nothing at one hour, a bare threshold at ninety minutes, and a mild plus-one by roughly two and a half hours, which proved to be the ceiling. Trying to sleep at hour nine failed because of strange, almost-logical thought loops mixing music, imagery, and nonsense associations. Even after six hours of sleep the writer felt off baseline well into the next day, and advised curiosity tempered with caution.
